....I kissed France and my family goodbye, as they headed back home and I made my way to Norway to teach. I think Siw and Kathrine have been asking me to teach there for around 10 years, so it was great to finally oblige!!
I started my Norwegian journey in Tondheim, a very picturesque town... ...this was taken from Siw's house...what a view! I love the grass growing on the roof - a tradition there!! Siw is the owner of Quiltegarden the shop I taught in while here.
Siw took me down to the old part of Trondheim after class one night....SO gorgeous!! These pics were taken at around 10.30pm...insane!!!
Most opted to make my Tiny Town Tablerunner...here was one end almost complete using gorgeous black and beige tones...I should mention that this woman, AnnAka designs many patterns in Norway, so it was wonderful to see some of her work while I was there!
..just some of the women I shared the day with....
Some even brought along some show and tell...YAYAY...Angels Story almost complete
..the bag from my book 'A Gardeners journal'.
I had a fabulous time here and was very sad to leave. Hopefully I will be able to visit Siw and her wonderful shop (and the women within) again some day....
