I have just had a great weekend away with 20 fun-loving sewers in sunny Nowra. They were all working away on my Home Sewn Bag, a bag which will be in the book being published by Quiltmania early next year. I have been to workshops here before, so it was a family reunion of sorts - people I hadn't seen for a couple of years, and some new faces too. FUN is the only word to describe it - lollies & laughter, and a bit of sewing in between - heaven ;)
Here is the bag they were all working on. I will show you just some of the colour combinations the girls had in my next post.
working hard in-between lollie and tea breaks....
a bit of show-and-tell...
An old friend from my book 'A Simple Life', a brighter version which I LOVE!! One of the best things about workshops is seeing what everyone brings - bags, needlecases, pincushions etc.
the GANG, minus their leader Kim (tirelessly taking photos instead of being in the shot) who hosted the weekend away through her shop Jukejema Quilting Barn. Thanks Kim and the girls for making my weekend such a rewarding one.
Until next time,
Anni
