A Frozen Completion

I have been trying for a few days now to take a photo of the completed wallhanging (YAYAY, yes COMPLETE) and hanging bags for The Partridge & The Tree pattern, but the weather is just not being kind.

Today I battled against the blustering and freezing winds to create the perfect image - yes, silly me!! After 2 hours of trying with constant hair tossing and frozen blue fingers, I decided today was, yet again, NOT the day for photography.

I did manage to take a few photos of the new Hanging Bags which will be part of the pattern, and if you look closely you may be able to see what was done for the borders of the wall hanging...


Here's hoping for some less windy, less icy days soon ;)

...and now for a border or two....

The Partridge and The Tree is finally coming together - I am just sitting and staring at the moment, wondering which way to go with putting it together. I'm sure if I play the staring game for long enough the fabric will automatically help me out, and morph into the completed project...hmmm.....

...and the last block is almost complete!

I'm almost there...like the end of a good book - what to do next!! Well, I haven't quite finished everything. I still have to join the blocks together into a wallhanging. I'm also thinking of doing a few dangles for the Christmas tree too....hmmmm...... ...I'll keep you posted!

The Partridge & The Tree Continues

I am still slowly stitching away on my latest project. I am squeezing a stitch in here and there while life rumbles along. It is my FAVOURITE thing to do, so grab every available opportunity...sadly not as much time as I would like - oh for a whole day to stitch away....
