Life is forever flying by and I can't believe Christmas is upon us already! I have been madly trying to make a few Christmas presents this year, and did so for Tim's teachers, but that's about all. I have binding to put on a quilt for one of Pete's great Aunts, which will hopefully be completed tonight, and then it's CHRISTMAS TIME!!!
Below are the teachers presents (sorry, yet another poor pic but I was HURRYING!!). These were filled with Christmas chocolates. I had a student in class who made these pockets and put gift vouchers which I thought was a brilliant idea! (These are from my Christmas Stamp Pocket pattern, in case you were wondering).
For our Christmas break, we are off to Pete's family in Huskisson which is a beautiful town about half an hour south of Nowra on the NSW coastline. We are camping in the back yard as there are SO MANY relatives, so I am praying for dry weather! The next post might be of me muddy and soaked haha.
I should mention Hatched and Patched is closed officially from Dec 24th until Jan 3rd so Deb and Pete can have a tiny little bit of time out.
Here's hoping everyone has a safe and enjoyable Christmas and you all have time to relax awhile and soak up the atmosphere of all that is good in the world.
Take care and have fun
Anni
