Pete and I have just arrived home from a very busy weekend in Melbourne. We arrrived on Friday lunch time to a little black space, almost like this....
Di Greig was helping with the Homespun (magazine) stand and had a very bad foot, so decided to quilt my unfinished BOM for me instead (can you see her on the left?). YAY for Di!!! She also had some left-over props she had brought in and, the lovely woman she is, leant them to me for the duration of the show. What a great next door neighbour! I thought I should say, that no, yellow isn't Di's favourite colour. We all have to wear lovely vests while setting up ha ha.
After 8 hours of scrabbling around pinning things up, taking things down, pinning things up, moving them around, the stand looked like this....
.... of course I still would have liked to change things around, but time had run out...
We had two wonderful days of catching up with shopkeepers (so many lovely ones we would now consider friends), and catching up with other designers who we see at most shows - a bit of a family reunion really!!
We usually end up next door to the Homespun stand, so here are another two who help out - Claire and Leeanne kicking up their heels - yet more great neighbours!
We arrived home at 9pm last night (Monday) after picking up our children from my parents home. I don't think I even said goodnight to them - just drifted off to the bedroom and fell straight to sleep...
.... all over for another year ...
your stand looks amazing, and your new quilt looks great, all your hard work has paid off, you should feel very proud of yourself, put your feet up and eat some chocolate!!

The quilt looks so beautiful hanging up. Looks like you girls all had a wonderful time. Love how your stand looked. I am sure that you could have kept rearranging till the cows came home but no matter it still would of looked beautiful whichever way it was :)

What a beautiful stall !
Pity Australia is so far away from France !
24 hours on an aircraft is too much for me .
I hope that there are still a few "In my garden" patterns to sell. Please say Yes.
A very good day to you Annie.
