As I said in my last post, most people who came to the Nundle workshop attempted the pin cushion project. I was SO impressed with what they achieved in the time we had! Here are just a few of what everyone was calling the 'mushrooms' - hmmmm..... don't you just LOVE how everyone added different details to the tape around the edge?
Then we had a few people who went a little crazy and did all sorts of BRILLIANT finishes - it always amazes me just how creative some people are...
I had to take a pic of Jenny who NEVER does hand work and was forced to for the day. She made an amazing pin cushion ALL by hand and STILL has a smile on her face!! Way to go Jenny - I wonder if she is now converted...
Just a few of the wonderful women who made teaching in Nundle such a delight...
Below are some of the wonderful helpers Kerry had to help her during the weekend - a very friendly crowd! I hope to see them all again next year.
Last but not least, here is some of Pete's wool for sale at the workshop, along with the gorgeous Garden Party fabric Kerry had for sale on her stand.
All in all, I had a great weekend and learnt SO MUCH myself from all the creative souls who attended. It is so wonderful to become part of a group of like-minded people and I am SO looking forward to being there again next year.
Keep on stitching!
Anni
How cute are they.....
I need to make one as well please.
Looks like everyone had heaps of fun... but you are a wonderful teacher too.

Jenny is coming back next year, I booked her in before we left! She did enjoy herself and didn't end up being mad at my mum for bringing her to do 'handstitching'!
It's fantastic to see all the different pincushions... dh called mine a lampshade....

We arrived in Nundle for the weekend, unfortunately after the event! Looking at the pictures all the ladies looked like they had had such a great time that I wished I had known about it sooner. So I have booked my accommodation for March 2011. See you there!
