We are off again this week. To start with we will be exhibiting at the Quilt and Craft Expo at Rosehill which is the first of the Wholesale Trade Shows for the year. It gives me a chance to catch up with friends and have a look at what my fellow designers have been up to in the past 6 months as well as look at all the gorgeous fabrics on offer.
It gives Peter time to catch up with Trevor from the Birdhouse and see how many different ports they can sample. It's a wonder I get any work out of him.
We have a day off and then it is time to set set up for the Darling Harbour Quilt Show. This is the only retail show we do all year and it's great to meet everyone and see the wonderful quilts on display as well as the eclectic stalls around us. I have the best time. Of course Peter pretends to do all the work, but I am sure I put in a couple of hours over the 5 days.
So if anyone is coming to the Craft and Quilt Fair at Darling Harbour from Wednesday the 11th to Sunday the 15th we are at stand H30. Drop in and say Hello, I will be busy asleep under the counter or having an extended lunch break. Come and see all my samples in real life - much better than looking at a photo.
Keep Stitching
Anni

Hey Anni! Have just found your blog! Was only wondering the other day if you had one, as I was posting on my blog about signing up for the Stitchers Dream Day Out at Highfields in September - now I know you DO have a blog! (found via another I visit!) Hope you had fun at the Quilt show, will be back for more visits and sneaky peeks! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

hello there Anni
I did not see you sleeping under the fabrics.... however I did see you & that I am thankful for.....it was so lovely to meet you.
Your beautiful stand at the Trade show was a credit to you & your man. Anyone reading this snippet ...just close your eyes and 'imagine' imagine all of Anni's creations set out with flowing continuity, colors to feast the eyes on & fabrics of all color, shapes & sizes....aaaahhhh what a treat.
Thankyou for coming to visit us, your warm personality just beams & makes others feel at ease.
I also want to mention to you that on our way to Molong....both Warwick & I stopped off in Bathurst....fed & watered at a brilliant cafe stop down town then headed off to your fabulous shop....walked the little path & entered the green door....oooohh Laaa. Anni beautiful....so glad we took the time to pop in. Hopefully next time you might be there amongst the fabrics too.
goodbye from jo
