Hatched and Patched

the BOM continues...

i have been SOOOOO busy working on my BOM. I've finally completed all the single flower baskets, and have started to think about how I'm joining it all together. It's all just blobbing around on my floor. Unfortunately I don't have a design wall and am forever placing it, then picking it all up again. I suppose the good thing about this is that I can change my mind all the time, depending on how it is placed. The bad thing is I have a terrible memory, so all is new all the time!

Christmas is looming near, so I'm trying to get a few little stitcheries or applique pieces together so I can take them with me to Walcha where Christmas will be spent. You never know, I might have 5 minutes to myself... sounds like wishful thinking doesn't it?

New Block of the Month

I've been planning on doing a BOM for quite a while and have always steered towards books as I can add more projects and have a wider scope with my designs. I have had so many people enquiring about my doing a BOM I thought it about time. This has been in progress for quite awhile but always gets put on the backburner as other things crop up. I'm thinking of calling it A Pocket Full of Posies and want a slightly English theme where borders don't necessarily go all the way around, and adding a few different bits here and there to make it quite eclectic. I'm also using warm tones so it should sit nicely in my home. Here is the start....

New weekend projects

I've recently completed some new 'Quick and Easies' projects. I did a sunglasses case which fits a rotary cutter perfectly! Also a heat bag to take away those aches and pains. I thought it about time to make 'useful' things which aren't too hard to make so they can be made for gifts etc. Hope you like them.
