Workshops Galore

Hi all
Sorry for the tardiness with my posts of late. I have been designing and sewIng madly, preparing a number of projects for 3 workshops I have coming up over the next few weeks.
First up I am off to Hobart Tasmania for a Sunday workshop on the 26th February with Helen Stubbings (Hugs and Kisses) at her shop the Quarter Inch. I love Tasmania, just wish I could stay longer!!
Then I am off on a road trip up to the sunny mid coast to Port Macquarie to Stitched and Framed for the weekend of the 4th of March. 
Finally I am going to visit Lynette Anderson of Lynette Anderson Designs for 2 workshops up on the lovely Sunshine Coast on the following weekend of Sunday the 12th and Monday the 13th. It is called Stitch the Day Away and I still have much to do to get ready, but can't wait! If you'd like to join me at any of these destinations there may be a few places left, so let the shop owners know if you would like to be part of the fun. I have added some links below to some of the workshops to help you find more information.

New Block of the Month

Hi

I am currently working on a new Block of the Month. For something different I am using hand dyed woven wools for all of my appliqué.
I am hard at work and I thought I would show you some snippets of how it is progressing. Hope you like it.

The Story Of My Day - New Book Competition

Hope you had a nice Christmas and a fun break. Finally my new book is done!! I picked up some boxes of books from our local printer and snaffled the first 10 books off the printing press. I have decided to keep a copy for myself, sign the rest, and give them away. I am going to run a friendly little competition over my 3 platforms, Facebook, Instagram and Typepad, to win a signed copy of my new book - 'The Story of My Day'. The rules are, post a comment to be in the draw. I will randomly pick 3 winners who have commented and they will receive a book.

The Pressure is On

OK the pressure is on. I am now down to days not weeks to get the new book into the printers. Stress is up, Chocolate levels are increasing and it is time to unveil another little tidbit from my book.
Not long now.....to the next hot chocolate.

New Book - New Project Sneak Peak

Hi Everyone,
I am stitching frantically in my little studio room while the rain is gently falling on our tin roof. A great day for sewing. I hoped to be a bit further advanced than I am ... Eeek, still madly trying to complete all my projects for my latest book 'The Story of my Day'. Here is a snippet of another project I am working on and of course it is all about shoes.

All in a Day Fabric Range

Hi Everyone,
Look at what just landed on my doorstep....my latest fabric range 'All in a Day'!!!
I wasn't expecting this until early November, so what a great surprise! My fingers are itching to stitch with all the new prints....a very soft and gentle group.
Printed by Henry Glass Fabrics and available now. Check out your local patchwork shop. There are 18 fabrics including the panel.
