Woohoo!! look what just came in the mail. I LOVE this magazine, and now I am featured in it!
Simply Vintage is an all French mag, so hmmm, a little hard for me to decipher - hopefully my French-learning daughter will be able to help soon - but it is OH SO GORGEOUS!!! IF you haven't seen a copy before, it is from the makers behind Quiltmania, another magazine I am totally addicted to. As far as I know, Simply Vintage is not around to buy in Australia, BUT, Quiltmania DO come to the quilt show in June at Darling Harbour where I bought a previous copy last year - FABBO!
So you want to see the project I did??
I used some of my favourite things in this design - delicious linen, hand-dyed thread and woven wool.
For all of you who have the same dialect problem as me (hohum), I WILL be making a pattern for this soon, and yes, kits as well. When I say soon, they won't be ready until May I believe - just too much to fit in before then.

Hi Anni, I have just received my latest copy of this magazine (I have all issues so far), and was very pleased to see your project - trés magnifique! I have gone back to learning French again with Alliance Française so love the magazine for practice!

I cant believe it, we live in France and my hubby found this yesterday in a shop and gave it to me for our wedding anniversary! theres not much of this sort of stuff around here so you can imagine how pleased I was, he earned some brownie points can tell you

How exciting to know you have a project in this copy of Simply Vintage. I just placed an order for it yesterday from the online quilt shop I use here in Switzerland. The cover just looked so inviting and now knowing one of the projects is yours I'm even more impatient for it to arrive!! That news has made my day! Have a lovely weekend! :)

Love your project. Husband and I are spend 10 days in Sydney early September (from New Zealand). Top of the list is a visit to your shop, I will definitely be buying a kit of this project, if you haven't sold out by then!!!. I am so looking forward to visiting/shopping at your store.

Congratulations!!! Another feather in your cap. I have been trying to obtain that mag for a while now but I didn't realise that there isn't an English version like Quiltmania.
