Woohoo! I'm SO excited!!! I have just received a parcel in the mail. I couldn't wait to see what was inside, so it is now slightly ripped - yes, I'm one of those people who ALWAYS rips my presents open, MUCH more fun ;) - and inside was the first strike-offs of my new fabric range '12 days of Christmas'!!!
This is my second Christmas range and I can't wait to start designing with it. The fabrics won't be hitting the shops until May/June this year, so you will have to hold your breath for a little while yet. I only have VERY small pieces, so I think it will be planning in action rather than making, but HAPPPPEEEEE AM I!!!!
This is the panel - the theme was based on a long stitchery wallhanging I did in my book 'A Christmas Story'. I think it was the most popular project in this book, so made it into fabric for everyone to use. I think the first thing I'd like to make is a garland, or maybe a quilt, or maybe some Christmas bags, or a table runner, or.... hmmmm.... my head is spinning!
Until next time
Anni
It's so wonderful!!! How very exciting for you and us! I will definitely be ordering this fabric.

Your new range looks so lovely. I am rather taken with those geese with the garland around their necks and the partridge in the pear tree on the panel :) - Roslyn

I absolutely love your designs Anni - they always make me smile!! The colours are gorgeous - I wish I could fill my house with all of these, but I seem to make things for other people (my husband often asks when I'll actually finish something for our house!!) - I just enjoy passing that smile on! Have fun with your new fabric - cant wait to see your finished ideas x

I had decided, notice I said 'had decided', not to do anymore Xmas things as my house brims but O my gosh, I already had the 12 days of christmas stitchery (from your book) on my list as my ONLY Christmas thing for 2013 and now look what you have done :-). I already have your Christmastime Panel hanging provocatively on my design wall and I think it needs a companion so I can't wait to get one and of course the project? Congratulations
