....or that what it feels like! What a month!!! Sorry for my lack of communication. I thought it more important to sleep than type, but it has been way way too long.
What have I been doing? Firstly I had to design a new pattern to teach teachers and shop owners at the Australian Wholesale Trade Show (Quilt and Craft Expo) - something from wool that could be completed without a sewing machine - EEEP - anyway, DONE! Funny, when I get stuck, and have to think far too long, I usually make something I like the most, so here it is - Pear Tree Pincushions....
These were released at the show as a Quick & Easy pattern and sell for $7.70 (rrp Aust), just in case you were wondering.
I also had a stand here, so some pics from that ...
The wholesale show was on the weekend before Darling Harbour, so we had a day to move everything over to the next site ready for the next show. Some photos of Darling Harbour are below.
Pete and I have to say a huge THANK YOU!!!!!!!! to Dimity and Audrey, two wonderful women who don't know one another, but who are both sent from Heaven - thanks for providing us with your delicious biscuits and slice - truly spoilt were we - like pigs in mud - yummo! Certainly not expected.
We have now finally arrived back home, reaquainted ourselves with our children, and are now catching up on all things shop - newsletters, ordering, packing things away, and YURK stocktake. Sounds fun huh?
It's the school holidays next week, so here's hoping for a day or two of rest and relaxation....bliss....
Take care and stay warm (FREEZING here)
