I have been having a brilliant time making things with my new fabrics. I have so many ideas and time is flying by WAY too fast!!! The Quilt Market in Salt Lake City is just over a week away and I am starting to think maybe I am trying to complete too much which means I'll have nothing ready at all. I should really learn to complete things one at a time (but hey, where's the fun in that!??!)
We had visitors all over Easter, so thought I would make a project using hexagons as they require no machine and not too much thought either. Easter is now well over, and I still haven't finished my hexagons. EEEK!
I have made my free project though (this is a surprise but I promise I'll show you soon), so at least that's one thing made!
This is going to end up a table runner (if I get my running shoes on). I was at Springwood High School on the weekend, as they have a brilliant Quilt Show there every year, and I yet again participated. Sorry - no pics as I kept forgetting to take my camera (grrr). I did a little more sewing there though - luckily hexagons are so transportable!
It was great to meet a few friends from blogland there, so thanks for introducing yourselves!
Now it's time to sew some more!
Take care
Anni

The hexagons look beautiful, Anni. Can't wait to see your finished runner and the rest of the fabric as well. It was so lovely to chat to you recently at The Home Patch and to have that little glimpse of your fabric.
