If you've been wondering what I have been doing lately, there is little more to tell than doing book edits. Kimber (my editor), has been proofing and working hard, and so emails have been flying backwards and forwards for weeks! I am now well versed in all of my instructions and have made everything 10 times over (in my head at least), and feel slightly shell-shocked! It is a very different process having a book company taking over the role as publisher.
I can't wait to see what Kansas City Star do with the page layouts and cover - very exctiting!! My new book will contain 3 quilts, one a totally pieced quilt, the other two combining stitchery and applique. For those of you who are avid stitchers, I have worked seven projects for you. I have also made some things from woven wool and created a punchneedle project.
I thought I would give you a few more peeks......
More to come soon,
