I have been
working on a few new patterns over the last few months, and I have FINALLY
completed the instructions for GIRL TALK, a new Quick and Easy pattern.
You
know how you just do a little doodle, then it grows a bit, and before long, out
comes the idea in full? So I did a doodle of a phone (while chatting on the
phone ha ha, then decided to add words, ‘cause my friend was talking SO MUCH
and I was killing time, and it grew from there.
I like the phone pouch the
most, and am thinking of making a brighter one for Samantha (daughter) as she
has just got hold of her first mobile phone – EEEK! – have I lost her forever
now? She just LOVES bright colours – so different from me.
I made two
address books – one using stitchery, and one with stitchery and
appliqué. I love needle-turn appliqué (as I’m sure you all know), but it would
look great in fusible web appliqué too I think.
I am still
waiting on the pre-printed stitchery to be sent to me to add with the pattern,
so I won’t be posting the patterns to shops until mid next week.

Mmmmmm....very modern...my nieces will love it and my husband laughed - often my greatest ideas come while I am 'yakking' on the phone..love it Annie
