If you didn't already know,I'm off on a holiday (whoops - I mean a very important working trip- must remember that hee hee) to Tasmania to visit the gang at The Quilted Crow on the 20th & 21st September. I have made up two new patterns for the girls (& guys - who knows?!) to play with, one a bag using stitchery, the other Christmas ornaments using yummo felted woven wool - absolutely gorgeous to work with! If you are unfortunate enough to miss out on the fun weekend, I will be releasing these as patterns in October.
Natalie Bird (from The Birdhouse) will also be there with a couple of her designs to work on - can't wait to see them! Her family and mine will then trip around down there for 10 glorious days - yippee! Pete and I plus Sam & Tim (our children) are going over by Ferry. I'm hoping for smooth sailing but have heard about some very treacherous voyages, so we have decided to head out a day early so I can overcome the sea-sickness and lack of sleep before showing myself to the world (I'm scary enough without sleep-deprived sickness hee hee).
Below are the workshop projects.
