I finally received an email yesterday saying the American magazine Better Homes and Gardens 'Holiday Craft' was on sale, so I can finally reveal the project I have made which is featured within! It is in a similar style to the advent calendar in my book 'Christmas Story'. I hope you like it. I have also included a pic of the front cover of the mag, so you know which one the project is in.
Did you hear my gasp all the way in Australia? I saw this magazine in the craft supply store and totally dismissed it without even a second glance. Now I have to go back and get it... I just LOOOOOVE that pear tree! WOW! You've outdone yourself, yet again! Thanks for sharing...and for reminding me it's not good to judge a book by its cover!

Hey Annie! What a cute advent calendar, although your birdie on top looks like he's been into the 'Christmas Cheer'! Tee! Hee! Hee! I also love the Santa on the cover of the book - he looks like a cross between Santa and one of the elves! Don't think I'm ready to think about Christmas just yet - still lots of birthdays to cross off the list before I start the Christmas rounds - GROAN!! Happy stitching! Bear Hugs! I found this magazine last night but when I saw the pattern, I thought to myself "I wonder if this pattern is already in the 'A Christmas Story' book that I own", so I put the magazine back. (nope) Now I have to go back and buy the magazine. It will make a wonderfule gift for my quilt group's Christmas gift swap.

Hi Anni - This very project has broght me to your website! I will return again. Just wondering tho, do you stock the hanger for this project? Or, can you point me (and others) toward the supplier? (Or did I miss this information in the article or on your site?) Thanks! Amy, South Lyon, Michigan USA
